Me voici de retour après 10 jours passées à Alger avec mon papa chéri, qui m’a dorloté comme une princesse. Je reviens toujours avec des présents et notamment un qui me tient à cœur et que mon papa n’oublie jamais de me faire à chaque fois que nous avons l’occasion de nous voir, une ribambelle de boîte de délicieux gâteaux algérois. Pour avoir goûté des gâteaux du moyen orient, et d’Afrique du nord, aucuns n’arrivent à la cheville de ces succulents gâteaux algérois tant sur la délicatesse de la présentation que sous le palais. J’ai pris mon portable avec moi là-bas et j’ai eu le temps de faire 4 pages digitales dont une inspirée de Debee campos que je posterai demain car j’ai mi une photo de mon doudou et moi. Aujourd’hui je dédie ce post à mon papa chéri, ce papa exemplaire, dévoué, immensément doué et si généreux que ma mère a choisi pour être mon père.
Je t’aime papa de tout mon cœur.

I'm back with a new album mainly white with lots of colorful touches. The pictures were taken in different towns in Cataluna. The tags were cut from a Desigual bag, a spanish cloth shop. Wires,ink, strass, paper bag tags, a very mixed-media album.

I had these photos for a long time, 3 years to be exact. They were taken in a highly revered catalan and catholic place called Montserrat that holds a black virgen, the patron saint of Barcelona, in its abbey. It's a must seen for its religious symbolism in Cataluna but also for its breathtaking views.

Oh come on, don't tell me that you never thought of being a witch once, even for few hours, bewitching people with love spells and other potions and above all using a broom to fly high. But of course there's a trick, you can't get those powers without getting the face that go with it, the warts, the unconvincing yellow, browny complexion, shaggy hair and an awful breath coming out of a disgraceful mouth that still houses only one tooth-peg. One has to make sacrifices sometimes...

What a delight to make up for Halloween and scare the little kids. We had so much fun that year, we were all hiden in the woods waiting for the kids of the neighbourhood to stroll in with two grown ups telling them a creepy halloween story. The kids were wondering if the Death angel was real or fake and kept on gazing at him waiting to discover the truth, a smile or a human voice that would expose him. But the angel fulfilled his mission until they went to sleep...

It's been a long time since my last post. I had a lot of work with my pupils, a new being has entered into my life a little puppy my boyfriend has given me for my birthday. I went to France to pay a visit to my mum, anyways I know it's all lame excuses but I guess I'm like some animals I need to hibernate to come back fully prepared and in shape to scrapbook again. And what a perfect time to come back, it's springtime with all its jolly birds singing out, trees are covered with buds, flowers are blooming and smiling to the sun. Yeah, well actually it's been really feeling like springtime a week ago, before that it was still raining cats and dogs. So don't be surprised by what my mind came up with...

En suivant le calendrier de l’Avent, le forum click et scrap a proposé chaque jour une activité différente pour préparer comme il se doit les fêtes de fin d’année. J’ai eu le temps de réaliser deux activités proposées par Cricri et Natalia, des sapins de Noël et une couronne dont elles ont trouvé le tutoriel sur deux sites américains pretty ditty et creativit ; j’espère avoir le temps de réaliser la recette de gâteaux proposée par Titania. En attendant voici en image mes réalisations et je profite également de ce post pour vous souhaiter un joyeux Noël et que tous vos vœux soient exaucés.

Autumn break in Madrid

Back from my escapade in Madrid with my mum, I wanted to make an album out of all these pictures I took there. While strolling on Kesia'as blog I came across a lovely clean and simple album. I chose to inspire myself from it to make our Madrid album. I thought it would be a real challenge at first since I wasn't used to the clean and simple style but eventually I made that album very quickly and I didn't encounter any difficulties. This album is very small, one of the smallest I made, 15cmx15cm, I hope you'll enjoy the journey..
